Despite the fact that the vast majority of the House of Representatives is against the use of glyphosate, Minister Adema of Agriculture does not seem to sufficiently appreciate the risks of this, and everything indicates that he will vote in favor of the use of glyphosate.
The consequences of Glyphosate
Many studies show a strong link between glyphosate and Parkinson's disease . It also suggests that glyphosate is carcinogenic .
Glyphosate is a commonly used herbicide in agriculture. In addition to controlling weeds, it also has harmful effects on other organisms, such as aquatic animals, frogs, toads, and fish, as well as fungi and worms that contribute to healthy soil.
